About Thomas J. (T.J.) Fraser, Jr.
T.J. Fraser represents clients in complex litigation and business issues and transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and regulatory matters. He brings years of experience in business to his relationship with clients, assisting them in meeting their specific business goals. His wide range of experience includes being involved in a number of businesses as a principal, as well as acting as lead counsel in matters ranging from venture capital transactions, regulatory compliance with international transactions, day-to-day representation of diverse companies, and acting a lead counsel with respect to a number of litigation matters, including construction litigation, intellectual property litigation, entertainment litigation, securities litigation, and business control litigation.
T.J. began his legal career at the Jacksonville law firm of Rogers Towers, P.A., where he served in both the corporation and litigation departments. He later became General Counsel and Vice President of a telecommunications company, where he assisted in developing a plan to turn around a competitive local exchange carrier by changing from a resale to an unbundled network element pricing business model. Upon his return to Jacksonville, T.J. was part of the initial management team of an early-stage technology company created to commercialize a plasma energy technology.
